A completely reversible shawl with a curious construction.
Any yarn can be used in any gauge, from a heavy laceweight through fingering, right up to a worsted or aran. If you use lightweight yarn, optional beads can be added to the picot edging, highlighting the different colours you've chosen.
This is a straight forward project, ideal for showing off two hand-dyed yarns. It also looks fantastic made in one colour.
Size:
Customisable, it's a slight parallelogram. Approx. 40 x 160cm – 16" x 63".
Materials:
Any yarn of your choice. Shown in 4 Ply / Fingering.
Heavy laceweight – allow approx. 400 – 500m per colour.
Fingering – allow min. 400m per colour.
Sport & DK – allow min. 300 – 400m per colour.
Worsted & Aran – allow 250 – 300m per colour.
For optional beads:
Size 6 beads x 200. Crochet hook size 1mm. Stitch marker.
